lsani Type VII.
No illustration is supplied by Isani but the dimensions and period and location of usage identifies
the pieces below as being this Type. Furthermore, the illustration in Malik & Zaki is a
reasonable depiction of quite a distinctive one line overprint. Isani records the usage as Dacca in
October 1961 on two Ordinary values with handstamp in purple ink. Length ofPaisa, 8.5 mm,
height ofletters, 4 mm.
Pair of covers with DACCA (rest of name illegible)/ DELY I 12 OCT 61 postmarks to Calcutta (second cover with
arrival backstamps of14 OCT 61) and piec.e with TEMPORARY P.O. postmark.
