Although endorsed by sender “BOAC to Lagos Nigeria
via Calcutta and Cairo thence by PAA to Australia”
this cover went from Chungking (datestamp 27 Oct
on back and 15 Nov on front) to Calcutta and then by
surface to Australia.
Arrival backstamp at Perth dated 6 Jul 1943 giving a
transit time of 7½ months.
