Tudor Crown Watermark
White near-vertical line caused by a very
small piece of dirt being lodged under the
doctor blade. If the foreign matter is small
enough, then all of ink from the pale areas
is removed - but only some of the ink from
the dark areas. This creates the impression
of an intermittent line.
