cancelled 2 datestamped K.D.O.P .A. HAMBURG.
The registration fee of S Skilling, marked in manuscript, was paid in cash.
lt'1 25th February 1864, Ladies envelope sent to K0benhavn, datestamped with HAMBURG
adapted from the Danish Hamburg canceller by the removal of the letters K.D.O.P.A.
on the evening of 23'd February 1864. The canceller is not uncommon and is known to March 1865.
Franked with 1863 4 Skilling which was no longer valid from I st March. This combination of franking
and datestamp was in use for only one week. (E)
