OLIVE SHADES
This colouring varies greatly from a pale or yellow olive to a medium olive shade.
There are no deep shades.

As is often the case, dealers have cut the best examples off the sheets, which they regarded as
valueless. So here the clearest and deepest examples are as cut singles and the only dated
example has more yellow in it and is also a less-well inked example. It is apparent that the two
singles have the best definition when looked at with magnification.
