Saxon on this cover seems to be a manuscript "Name of Boat" marking as it is in a different handwriting than the address.
As the other covers from this correspondence originate on the Red River, presumably this one does also. The cover is
postrnarked both January 24 & 25. It is presumed that the cover was received on one day and despatched on the next.
