Sheet Numbers
Sheets were numbered consecutively from 1 in the top-right corner. The number of digits varied according to how
many sheets were delivered. If fewer than 100 were delivered, then a two-digit number was used. If between 100
and 999 sheets were ordered, then there would be three digits with the numbers below 100 having leading zeroes.

The font of the numbering is Fernbank’s Type A, which
ceased being used by De La Rue in summer 1912. It is the
only Sierra Leone George V despatch that received this font;
all others had font Type C.
