The key plate, featuring the central King’s head and Sierra Leone arms, was common to all eight values for
this issue. There was only one key plate made, which had the number 1 in a circle in all four corners of the
sheet. Each duty plate had a single jubilee line that surrounded the pane of 60 stamps.
