1948 Easter greetings cards (above and below), sent internally in the Aschaffenburg D.P. camp. The rectangular
green postmark reads "Plastova Poshta I Aschaffenburg ", which translates to Scout Post I Aschaffenburg.
The significance of the kangaroo cachet (above) and of the galloping circus horse cachet (below) is not known.
The name " Plast" derives from the Ukrainian word "plastun"
wh ich is synonymous with the English term " Scout".
