1949 Easter greetings card, sent internally in the Aschaffenburg D.P. camp. Postage 5 Pfennig paid, as evidenced by the
Ukrainian National Council stamp of 1949. The circular violei postmark reads "Aschajfenburgskyi Plastovyi Kish ", which
translates to Aschaffenburg Scout Troop. Inside the circular postmark is the Ukrainian trident intertwined with the Scout Badge.
By 1946 Ukraini an Plast membership exceeded 10,000 Scouts who participated in regu lar camps, training courses,
jamborees, publishin g various publications, including a Ukra inian tran slation of Baden-Powell's "Scouting for
Boys". Plast became a mem ber of the D.P. (d isp laced persons) Division of the Boy Scouts International Bureau.
