Scouting Around the World                           Denmark

              The YMCA Boy Scouts of Denmark was founded in 1910.
They held their third nat ional camp at Tre lde Nes in 1925 with 2,200 participan ts.

             Camp viewcard to Copenhagen, postmarked "FREDERICIA 15.7.25'".
From the written message: "These cards were handed out, with strict orders to 1Vrite home.".

                       The camp post office did not have its own postmark,
                    and mail was handled at th e nearby Frederici a post office.

The Danish Boy Scouts Assoc iati on held their 4th national camp at Gran shoved in 1928 with 1,200 participants.

Hoptrup is close to the camp site and the card is sent by a Boy Scout three days prior to camp.
        From the written message: "Tell Mom to send lots ofchocolate to me in camp ".
