Scouting Around the World Sweden

In 1946, The Swed ish Sco ut Association he ld a Boy Scout national ca mp on the island
Griinsii, located in Viistervik in Kalmar county on the southeastern coast of Sweden .
With 8,000 participants, in c luding 700 foreign Scouts from 11 nations, thi s was the until
then largest Sco ut camp in Sweden. The special postmark (S-008) was used 12-22 Ju ly.
