2d Value - King’s House, Spanish Town
Kings House, in Spanish Town, was founded in 1762.
It was the official residence of the Governor-General until 1872, when the capital was transferred to Kingston.
The building was gutted by fire in 1925, leaving only the Grand Portico and Facade.
The site is in now an archaeological museum.
