                These images are of the three pale pink stamps shown on sheet 8 of Frame 3, shown in order


                It can be seen that these stamps have the lowest concentration of dye, but patches of higher
                            concentrations are far fewer than for those on the preceding pages.
                                               THE MYSTERIOUS LILAC SHADE





















              This stamp on an 1892 document seems to be between the deep pink and pink designations in
              shade and the dye used is no different. There are occasional inclusions and the unusual crescent
              cancellation  punches  can  be  seen  (one  being  unsuccessful),  but  the  inclusions  appear  to  be
              unrelated to a change of shade. Although it does appear to be related to the type of lighting used.
