                             1882 is a year of major postal changes in Switzerland. The "Sitting Helvetia" is going to stand up with

                              new stamps issues. The "Numerals" appear with the new Standing Helvetia. This parcel consignment


                             form bears a rare combination of the famous 1 Fr. Golden Sitting Helvetia on granite paper and the

                              Sc Numeral on white paper. Consigned at  the GENEVE TRANSIT office (Rail station)  with postage of


                              Fr.  5.15 including four components: 8 kilograms to Hungary, domestic and foreign insurance fees for

                             100 francs, Swiss domestic postage for less than 400 kilometers.
