1882 is a year of major postal changes in Switzerland. The "Sitting Helvetia" is going to stand up with
new stamps issues. The "Numerals" appear with the new Standing Helvetia. This parcel consignment
form bears a rare combination of the famous 1 Fr. Golden Sitting Helvetia on granite paper and the
Sc Numeral on white paper. Consigned at the GENEVE TRANSIT office (Rail station) with postage of
Fr. 5.15 including four components: 8 kilograms to Hungary, domestic and foreign insurance fees for
100 francs, Swiss domestic postage for less than 400 kilometers.
