PARIS 16 VARIANT
With the introduction of the five-figure postcode in 1972 the
sixteenth Paris arrondissement was assigned two postcodes, 75016
for the southern sector and 75116 for the northern. In the P.L.M.
language 75016 retained the transcription 00016 whereas 75116
was transcribed as 00056.
