Trials were conducted in early 1973 specifically to test the equipment's abil ity to read
addresses through the papier cristal used in the production of window envelopes. The location
of the trials is uncertain but they may have taken place at Orleans-la-Source or at the Centre
d' Antony in the southern outskirts of Paris.
