This value was issued only as a make up value, as no two shilling rate existed in the George VI period.

                 26 August 1944 - Airmail from Kanre Lahun to Sussex, United Kingdom with single use of 2s adhesive.
 This letter is under-franked for the one ounce airmail rate, which was 2s 6d. A Sierra Leone T taxe marking was applied, as well as the
 QQ/2 censor mark. The British post office applied another postage due marking on arrival showing 1s due, i.e. double the deficiency.
