One Pound Deep Blue
A total of 83,160 stamps were printed in ten different
orders, commencing on 8 April 1938. Although there
was a need for a £1 postage stamp, the majority of this
issue was used for revenue purposes.

Will proved at the Supreme Court in Freetown. Duty of £32
paid with eight £1 adhesives on the front (right, reduced) and a
block of 24 on the back.
