30 August 1937 - Veracruz, Mexico to Freetown. The difference of 11 days between the Mexico Aereo backstamp (31 Aug 1937) and
the Paris backstamp (10 Sep) indicates that the Atlantic crossing was by sea. The backstamp of Paris Avion (10 Sep) suggest that this
cover was carried by Air France Antares from Toulouse (12 Sep) to Dakar (13 Sep). The last portion of the journey to Freetown was
by ship. Freetown arrival backstamp of 17 September.
7 June 1950 - Elk Mound, USA to Jaiama. Transit backstamps of Freetown (16 Jun) and Sefadu (20 Jun).
