Opened 14 August 1900. Closed from 1915 to 1926, and thereafter open until
independence in 1961. Located on the northern coast of the Colony, and also a  Town
station on the railway system.

            24 December 1904 - Cline Town to London, United Kingdom. A typical example of the pre-1910 practice
                  of hand-stamping the envelope at the office of posting, and cancelling the ‘stamp’ at Freetown.

Postcard used to Glasgow, United Kingdom. Posted with a Sierra Leone Edward VII 1d adhesive with an undecipherable date.
