Kanre Lahun / Kailahun Kanre Lahun
This town is located in the extreme eastern region of the country, beyond
the end of the railway and close to the border with French Guinea. Initially a
postal agency was opened on 1 January 1926 under the name Kanre Lahun,
but this was upgraded to a post office and re-named Kailahun on 1 May 1940.
It remained open until independence.
