Mano / Manoh Salijah                                            
                                                                               Mano
Mano is sited on the railway, 106 miles east of Freetown, whereas Mano Salija
(or Manoh Salijah) is located on the southern tip of the colony. Mano opened             Manoh Salijah
in 1903, still being open in 1961. Mano Salija was open 1884 to 1898 and 1900            
to 1937. These two towns are often confused.

This card was addressed to Manoh, which the     Postal Markings
post office routed to Mano rather than Manoh
Salijah. The recipient could not be located in  Nicaragua		 Sierra Leone
Mano, so the card was forwarded overland via
