Manoh Salijah
Originally mail was carried by sea to Freetown, but a post office notice dated Moyamba
24 February 1906 announced that the mails from Mano Salija to Freetown Sembehun
were to be transported by contract boat along the coast, up river to Sembehun,
then by mail carrier to Moyamba and onto Freetown along the railway. This Manoh Salijah
was a twice-weekly service.

Mail from Liberia to Europe was more efficient by the British service.
