In 1953, the Norwegian YWCA Gir l Gui des gathered on the Trones fa rm in Verda l, where the NSF Boy Scouts
had their 1952 nati onal camp. 3,000 Girl Gui des attended, in cluding 96 guests from 11 fo reign countries.
The fi eld post offi ce th at operated in the camp used a spec ial postmark (N-020) fro m 28 July to 5 August.
