Jamaica Telegraph.

Stamped telegraph despatch form, 6d, uprated to 9d for War Tax, 1916.
From 1 April 1916 an additional 3d War Tax applied to inland telegrams, taking the charge for the first
12 words to 9d. This may have persuaded Higgins and Gage to list a mythical 1916 9d form in the
Arms design. No new forms were printed then, the 3d War Tax stamps being used to uprate forms.

1911 6d telegraph despatch form uprated to 9d with a first issue 3d war stamp, issued 1 April 1916.
