Very little is known about Caffe Francais other than it operated in 1826/7
and is shown in Pigot's Directory in both years at 63 Haymarket under the
proprietorship of John Buberg. The cover below is addressed to Hotel
Francaise but at 48 Haymarket indicating that it was still in business in
the same street.

Lion Street on 29ili March 1838 addressed to W. Cooper Esq., Hot'el
Francaise, 48 Haymarket.
