A letter written on mourning stationery in Ashford on (
20th February 1850 by J Startup addressed to F. W.
Meyer at the London Coffee House, Ludgate Hill
where it arrived the next day. The letter asks Mr. Meyer
to remit £20-12-1 Od to Smith Payne & Co for my
account at the Ashford Bank.
