DETAILS OF THE 1888 STRIP
There is a clear reduction in amount of dye in the inks between 1883, 1886 and 1888, likely because
of fiscal restraint. A few small instance of poor printing in the strip can be seen.
The consistency in fine detail is evident across these prints, perhaps because of better supervision. 3
