PROMISSARY NOTE 1898

Also passing through the British system, a Promissary note, dated 1898 by datestamp, on an eight
annas revenue document with on the reverse a pair of four annas red-brown of the 1895 issue,

with a single two rupee brown red and a single five rupee violet of the 1899 Kishangarh revenue
stamps (all imperf).

The 1898 date comes from the writing on the QV part of the document, whereas the date of the
KSG stamps appears to be in error, but it would have been completed on a later date in KSG
