The Czechoslovak Exile Government and Czechoslovak Philatelic Society organized a stamp exhibition
in co-operation with RPSL, lasting from 8th to 20th November 1943. The Czechoslovak Field Post
prepared a souvenir sheet and commemorative postmark. The event was attended by Mr. Edvard
Benes, President of the Czechoslovakia, members of the Czechoslovak government and members of
London diplomatic corps. The role of Special Guest was reserved for Sir John Wilson, Curator of the
Royal stamp collection.
