                              When  I first saw  this envelope  in  New Zealand  in  2006,  I was  astounded.  I had  never heard  of a


                              stamped  to order  New  Zealand  envelope  being  produced  using  the  King  George  V  ld Australian

                              Stamp and  Note  Printer die. There was  no  mention in the  NZ Post Office archives  (I  had  just been

                             there}, The Samuel catalogue or Vol. 9 of The Postage Stamps of New Zealand. This item deserved to


                              be  in  my collection  and  I made the owner what I considered  to be a whopping big offer. Alas, the

                              owner liked to show it when he went to local clubs. Imagine my joy when it came  up for auction in


                              2015, and I was able to add  it  to my collection. The original can  be  seen  in  my Championship Class

                              exhibit 'New Zealand Postal Stationery 1876-1940' in frame 3701, Page 5.
