Posted from the Olomouc, Czechoslovakia on 23rd June 1949 via Soviet aviation Siberia transit. It
arrived in Shanghai on 19th September 1949, then Tibet Jiangzi on 12th November 1949. Lhasa was
in chaos so the People's Post did not send letters there but instead sent them to India. On 16th
December 1949 it arrived in Calcutta and then Mumbai on 19th where it was unclaimed. Mumbai
Post Office then returned it to the Czech Republic. This is the only example found of Shanghai to
Jiangzi People's Post in Tibet. [Errors may appear in this description due to challenging translation].
