'Live Bees - RUSH', a fourth-class
Special Handling insurance parcel
tag from a 1962 Parcel Post mailing
of live honey bees. Sent from a
breeder in Rio Oso, California to an
apiarist in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Not
only is the cargo unusual but it
carries a 'Special Handling'
marking, which is uncommon. The
parcel is also 'Insured' and carries
four different Liberty Series
stamps. A really sweet item.
