The cover is stampless because it was Russian Field Post. However on the back it is stated in m/s that
the postage incl. registration was 10 rubles paid in cash
Note: Although Persia was not renamed IRAN until 1934. The Gila n Republic called itself "Iran .... ."

Socialist Republic, ISSR, (of Gilan province at the Caspian Sea in Persia)

3. The manu script notation on the back states that the [postage] was paid in cash 10 rubles which was

4. Two different rectanfiular markings, POK ONT is short for Pochtovaya kon tora (post office), No.162.
dated 7 May 1921 - followed by UPRASVYaZ' KASPMORA, or Caspian Sea Communications
Administration.
