The Edward VII Keyplate 1902 to 1912

Plates Used for One Penny Crown CA Watermark

There were three Edwardian keyplates. Plate 1 had numbers in all four corners of the plate, whereas Plate 2a
had numbers only in the top two corners and Plate 2b only in the bottom two corners. Plates 2a and 2b were
seldom used. The Sierra Leone 1d is the only stamp for which all three plates have been recorded.
