Thirty-six years after the first printing, the original plate was again put to press. A distinctive purple lake
shade of ink was used. Although this printing was despatched to the colony in July 1895, no examples have
been recorded until the next year. Specimens were not produced.

	 Panes 7, 8 and 9 from the twelve-pane sheet.

	 This is the largest known block from any
	 printing of the Sierra Leone first sixpence.
