A 3 centavos postal card sent via New Orleans (7 Mar), New York (9 Mar), London (17 Mar) and Liverpool
(17 Mar) to Freetown, where it arrived on 7 April 1894.
The sender had somewhat generically addressed the card ‘to a Postage Stamp Collector, Freetown, Sierra Leone’ but
the post office marked the card with three strikes of the rare ‘Inconnu. / Not known.’ handstamp.
