30 December 1900 - Geneva, Switzerland to Freetown, Sierra Leone
A marketing card which arrived after
the death of the addressee. Marked both
‘Décédé. / Deceased.’ and ‘Unclaimed’
by the Freetown GPO and returned to
Switzerland.
The card received a Basel transit mark of
17 July 1901 and a ‘REBUTS’ handstamp.
Both Sierra Leone handstamps are rare.
