A letter sent from the Bechuanaland Protectorate to the village of Lumley on the Freetown peninsula. The
addressee could not be identified, so it was struck with the INSUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED / RETURN
TO SENDER handstamp. In this case, the ‘return’ address was in London.
One of only two recorded examples of this handstamp.
