Embossed Stamp Duty Impressions
Front sheet of a will bearing £357 in stamp duty, comprising 35 strikes of the £10 and seven of the £1
handstamp. These dies were produced in 1884. Although this piece is not dated, it was probably created in
the 1920s. The £2 and £5 Postage & Revenue adhesives were introduced in 1912.
