9ttt August 1864, Cover sent to Herningsholm franked with Holstein I 'A Schilling Courant,
cancelled with Danish three ring numeral 146 and datestamped with eds Ant Ill W ANDSBECK.
Sent during the period with no postal agreement between Denmark and the Duchies, paid to the
border and charged 6 skilling as a letter unpaid within Denmark. On reverse transit marks St.P.A.
HAMBURG, boxed Schleswig railway SCHLESW.POST.SPED.BUR. nordlich, and Ant IV
AARHUUS: earliest recorded, and known only to 6th October 1864, and Prussian occupation forces
straight line BERNING, being the only recorded use of this mark.

The second armistice began on 2om July 1864, and on 24 h July the Prusslan field post took over the post in Jutland.
Herning was not one of the main post offices which used Feldpost-Relais eds with numbers.
