I st July 1864, Entire letter sent to Vordingborg from Eiby on Fyn with manuscript 6 for
postage to be paid by the recipient and datestamped eds Ant VIII FEL TPOST No4. This
field post office operated only on Fyn from 25m May until 19t11 August 1864.
I 6th July 1864, Several times redirected envelope addressed from K0benhavn to Fyn with 4 Skilling
carmine crown and sceptre cancelled by three ring numeral 1 and datestamped eds Ant V
KI0BENHA VN KB 1? 7. On reverse, eds Ant V (FA)ABORG. The envelope bears manuscript
Feltpost N4 and was forwarded to 6th Company in Middelfart, also on Fyn, and then sent back to
K0benhavn, through field post office four. Cancelled for a second time with three ring numeral 225
and the envelope datestamped eds Ant VIII FEL TPOST No4. On its return to K0benhavn the
reverse of the envelope received eds Ant V K.10BENHA VN KB and eds Ant V KBH. 0STB. EXP.
