from Broager to Holbcek on
Sjcelland.
The normal postal route was not
available due to the war.
Private letter, stamped with double eds Prussian field post office K.Pr.FELDPOST 111.ARMEE
CORPS, was routed via Flensburg, Eckernforde, Kiel and Lubeck, where it received the double eds
LUEBECK before being sent by sea to K0benhavn. Stamped with eds Ant V KI0BENHA VN.
6 added by Danish postal authorities as the rate for an unfranked domestic letter. Later crossed out, as, when the letter
passed through the Prussian postal administration, it was a service letter, and therefore free. Arriving from Lobeck in
K0benhavn, the letter was again treated as unpaid, a second 6 was added, and the recipient paid the postage.
