Datestamped Ant V RANDERS and backstamped with
rectangular SCHLESW.POST.SPED.BUR siidlich, Lap
St.P.A.HAMBURG and arrival datestamp for KJ0BENHA VN.
After the preliminary peace treaty on I " August, 1864 the postal services
between Haderslev and Kolding resumed, and this letter was among the first
carried south and onwards to Kebenhavn, via Lobeck or Kiel. The Jutland
ports were not opened by the Prussians for mail until 9th August 1864.
