Main feature
The 6d late fee for posting on to a TPO. Strictly the envelope should have
been struck with a 'LATE FEE ' handstamp [see Goldblatt page 120]. The 6d
and the fact that the stamps have been cancelled with the TPO cds
confirms this type of posting.
The rate to Germany was 3d for each V2 oz between the 1st January 1891 and the 1st
September 1892 when the rate went down to 2 V2 d .
