Main feature
The charge on a redirected item was the same as the original postage
[except on items coming from abroad] and if not paid by the person
doing the redirecting the charge was payable at the ultimate address.
The postcard should have been paid 1 Opf in Germany not Spf. This equated with
%d which doubled gave the 1d first charged. The inland rate for postcards was %d
and this was the effective charge as the redirection was treated as an intemal
posting. The two added together gave 1 %d. The boxed T mark is German.
The only exception to the rule was a redirection having effect in the same post
