Tombo Tombo
Tombo is a small village on the southern coast of the Colony. A postal agency
was opened there on 3 April 1893, to close temporarily after July 1911. A
re‑opening is listed on 24 December 1913, but it closed again on 31 July 1932
when the business was transferred to Russell. Two handstamps were used, with
examples not readily found: the first is rare and the second scarce.
