            0  I 2th May 1864, Austrian army cover to Vienna sent from Fredericia in the period when the
               Danes abandoned the city during the two weeks from 29th April. Marked with manuscript
                        Fredericia and bearing Austrian field  post office K K FELDPOST Nol.

              The rate until 20"' May  1864 was  ISKr + SKr for unstamped mail and  ISKr for stamped letters. After this date
            there was no fee. There was only one Austrian field  post office established on Danish soil during the 1864 war. The
                                           others were in  Hamburg and Husum.




























               0  28th July  1864, Mixed military and domestic cover to BUckeburg in the Principality of
             Schaumburg-Lippe, marked with manuscript Viborg and bearing Austrian field  post office K K
          FELDPOST EXPOS. No 3. Endorsed Feldpostbrief and sent free through the Austrian field post to
                        Hamburg. Endorsed 3 for the postage from Hamburg to BUckeburg. (E)

          A letter of complaint about the occupation and behaviour of Austrian soldiers from Fru Konradsen, the vicar's wife, to
             her Austrian mother, sent during the second armistice, from Nautrup vicarage near Viborg in northern Jutland.
