The Big Five issue was introduced on 3rd November 2011, lithographed by Enschede of the
Netherlands. Multi-coloured, perforation 14 x 13. It includes the African Buffalo K80, Leopard KlOO,
Black Rhinoceros K135, African Elephant K140 and Lion K145. After several years of "agency" issues
authorised through the Malawi Posts Corporation, this was first issue that had the correct postal
rates and animals that are found in the country.
